The Hermiston School District is proud to congratulate 30 Hermiston High School students on their successful completion of the ODOT-approved Driver Education Program.
The course ran from mid-May through the end of June and provided students with 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction, and 12 additional hours of in-car observation time. This comprehensive curriculum gave students both the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become safe, confident drivers.
The Hermiston School District would also like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Rogers Toyota of Hermiston, whose generous donation of three brand-new Toyota vehicles made this year's in-car instruction possible. Community partnerships like this one play a vital role in providing students with safe, high-quality learning experiences behind the wheel.
