Business Reports

Financial Report by Katie Saul
Tax and revenue figures have remained closely aligned with projections and continue to show strength. Interest earnings from banking institutions have slightly exceeded expectations, which is a positive development. Additionally, interest rates on the government investment pool account are beginning to decrease. The district has received a payment from the ESD for opting out, as well as funding from the Department of Education. Looking ahead, the state will conduct a reconciliation in the spring of next year. At this time, the district is operating with a deficit budget, and financial planning efforts remain focused on ensuring long-term fiscal stability.
